For years, those, who spoke out early against the hidden fascism and tried to stop its snowballs before they could turn into an avalanche were not only made targets of the old and neo-fascists. They also had to endure the naivety, ignorance and purposeful blind eye of their contemporaries, friends and colleagues, who are only now shocked at how omnipresent and ready is the violent orchestrated evil

Many journalists and writers already had to go into hiding years ago, had no professional support via their unions, who played down the threats. It is as my grandfather laid it out already in the 1930-ies: Suddenly, when the fascists knock even on their latest target's door, it might be yours and nobody is left to stand up for you, as you ignored the warnings and made your own deal and turned a blind eye or became even partner in crime. Don't ever take any voice standing up against fascism for granted, as many have already lost their lives by hands filled with bribery, and secondhand ritual mercenary knives...
